Jumbo Homecoming 2022: For the first time ever, Tufts will play their Homecoming game under the newly installed lights on Ellis Oval/Zimman Field. Kickoff in the game against Bowdoin is on Saturday, October 8, at 6:30 p.m.
There are lots of events and activities throughout the day for alumni of all ages to enjoy. Stop by the Tufts Alumni Homecoming Headquarters in Alumnae Hall between 2:30 and 6:30 p.m. to grab snacks and free swag (while supplies last) and learn about all the benefits and services available to Jumbos at our alumni resource fair.
Groundbreaking of Sol Gittleman Park and more! Take the field! You’re invited to an afternoon of connection and celebration as we honor Sol Gittleman, beloved professor and lifelong baseball fan, and break ground at the site of Sol Gittleman Park. The day's festivities will include a special baseball-focused presentation by Sol Gittleman at the new Joyce Cummings Center followed by the official groundbreaking ceremony at the site of the new Sol Gittleman Park, a new stadium and home for Tufts baseball. A reception will follow the ceremony.
